i have been told that konrads will bolt up to a trs gimble, does anybody know for sure?:ernaehrung004:

Yes, Konrad Conversion come with a different Helmet becasue of the oiling system. So all you have to do is remove the Hinge Pins, replace the helmet. Attatch the drive. You also need to add a new resivoir that is larger capacity then the Trs. Its simple, can be done in a couple of hours or less with a few tools.

& i think biggus has a refirb pair for sale that is very reasonable.

And I have the Ace for sale, which I could break up with the gimble, drive and trans!!

Kirk, your Konrad ACE package is certainly priced very aggressively but it's not interchangable with the unit specifically designed as a retrofit for the TRS.

The Konrad 540 PRS (TRS replacement) is fitted with an input shaft 3" longer than the ACE unit as the TRS transmissions have a tailstock 3" longer than the ACE trans.
