500 EFI Engine Oil Question
 

I have been running the Merc Oil in my boat for the last 20 hours, just had my engine re-built top and bottom and want to switch to Amsoil, I really like the way their tests come out and you don't really hear anything bad about them. For the people running Amsoil, which product are you using and how does it seem to be working for you? Thanks for any advice.

I use the Series 2000 Racing Oil 20w-50 just because I had some left over to do my 496ho's. I would use the Dominator 15w-50 Racing Oil if I were you. I would also recommend their Marine Gear Lube, Oil Filters and Racing Grease for you gimbals. I use all of the above.

Thanks for the input. I run almost everything Amsoil in my truck and am quite happy with it so far.

Mobile 1 15w50 worked GREAT in my 500's for over 400 total hours.
