What Carb for my 5.7L Mercrusier

I have a 93 Sea Ray 250 Express Cruiser. Found out the carb has to be replaced. The OEM is a 4 barrell and I am wondering if anyone can provide a recomendation of brand. Holly, Edelbrock or go back with OEM?

Any advise will be appreciated.

Thanks

The OEM is fine for your application.

it probably has the weber/afb carb with a adapter, basiclly a marine edelbrock 600 carb, which would be a direct replacement, Rob

Rob,

As it turns out the intake on the 5.7L has lots of rust and pitting from it sitting up so long in Florida.

I am going with a performer set up from JEGS. Complete with intake and 600 cfm. Looks like I have my work cut out for me, but I want to do it RIGHT - ONCE.

Thanks for your input.
Gary
