I want to thankyou on your post and pictures of the dart head to gen 6 block water problem I have just looked at mine and there was around .170 thou on one side and only around .020 thou on the other IM running a weiand 871 and really have not got into full boost yet So thanks again.

Good job Bob! This will save a lot of Gen VI engine builds a lot of potential grief. Dart is a great engine parts company in many ways but their experience and parts compatibility with the Gen VI and Gen 7 (8.1L -496 ) blocks is a problem sometimes in some areas such as this. They are used to older style big blocks and their parts tend to be based around those blocks. I hope they realize the current quantity of Gen VI blocks in use today and make some simple changes to accommodate these needs and not just assume everyone is going to buy one of their blocks for use. Time should clear problems like this.
Again thanks for the point out though as this may save a lot of engines and builds.
