what engines were the L-29 vortech heads used on?

Gen VI engines. 1996 & newer.

Used on 7.4 MPI Gen 6 only since they are oval port heads. The stock Mag motors use rectangular port heads. I understand that the Vortec heads flow quite well (Dennis Murphy book) and can be considered for other applications however.
