You will see a small drop in RPM but any muffler that actually works is going to have some type of performance loss.

Will the XPM525 fit over angled tips? This may be a strech but do you have any pictures of this muffler installed on a boat and maybe a sound clip of them?

You would need to cut your tips to be straight before installing the mufflers. Unfortunately I do not have any sounds clips of the XPM525 but I do have an install picture that I will try and track down.

Another option for you might be these Tomahawk Mufflers from Hardin Marine, which are by far one of the best mufflers on the market today, they are a full time muffler with limited power loss capability.
