There is a little more to it than just swaping the cam. You will need springs to match, maybe new lifters, maybe pushrods. I am not engine builder but I just converted my Gen V to a Roller. My cam has a lot more lift and less duration. I know you are looking for a cheap upgrade but I used RMbuilder to design a custom cam. Prepare to spend some money if you go this route. I replaced the cam, lifters, springs, pushrods, timing chain and cover. He gave good advice on matching components. Good Luck!!

I have the heads coming from afr. so the engine is already have it apart old heads bent the intake valves. I just wondering if cam would be ok for a boat. I seen your posts it was alot work to get it to work . I see that rmbuilder is the man when it comes cams.
I fig if i'm already there and if this cam will work I put it in . mine is a gen6 roller mpi engine .

That is a good price depending on the hours on springs.
