I t looks like he did just enough to make them work, then gave them back to you.
I would like to hear how many hours you get from them with Mr.Gadgets doing them.

It was supposed to be a complete rebuild, anything with any wear was supposed to be replaced. Frank told me he did the work himself so they would be right. I know this is my fault, I chose to go there, I'm not looking for sympathy, I just want to make people aware. I am anxious to see how the drives hold up when Mr Gadgets is done with them. Just replacing the worn out parts and removing all of the metalic debree should help.

Default hmm- lets see if Franks......

Gadgets has an excellent reputation thats actually making its way to the West Coast. I'm sure youll be happy.

Should be interesting to see if Franks steps up and offer some form of make good, or if they play the blame game and hang you out to dry.

Good luck and thanks for taking the time to document your experience for us.

Sounds like "Frank" is local. At the very least I would take the unusable parts back to him and place them on his counter and ask him to explain. I am sure all he will care about is whether you are asking for a refund, which if you aren't, you at least deserve an explanation.

I would like to hear what excuse he has.

He went off when I called and asked if he actually tightened the nut on the vert shaft . That happened on my every day drive but if you look at the pictures of my spare drive the prop shaft has the same marks I just didn't know. I'm chalking this up to a bad experiance but I think others have the right to know.

Yeah the guy clearly did NOT clean anything out after a previous failure. I used 12 cans of brake cleaner and made several trips to the parts cleaning bin when we completely disassembled a new lower after the pinion gear in the upper had broken. You can't believe how much debris gets into everything.....
