I thought this web site was about learning from other peoples mistakes. I posted my experense and others have had the same problems. Why would anyone recomend not to pump out empty and start with fresh gas.

Are many of boaters experiencing fuel failure with the previous boating seasons fuel? E10 has been around for a number of years in the Midwest and we have not experienced any issues to date. The concern of E10 having a rapid loss of octane does support the position of leaving the tank low at the end of the season so you have room to add fresh high octane the following year.
