What are Merc Racing Rods worth
 

I have a set of Merc Racing rods out of my 575 SCi. The part number is 614-8M8020323. I don't know what they are worth. They are all OK but the list price is outragous at $1896.40 a set.

Didn't the 575 use GM forged steel rods??

They used manley H beams

Got ya. Well, in that case, summit has Manley H beams for about $700 a set. I guess it gives VP an idea of what they are worth ( new at least).

on to them adds $ 1200 to the price ? ;) :D

The are indeed the Carillo H-beam design.

Nice rods ...... but ridiculous price .... must be that special laser printing like jeff1000man said.

You can get the equivalent of those rods through supply houses all day long for less than $500 plus the shipping.

what isn't that merc puts their brand on ??
