What's The Best Drive Shower For XR
 

I'm looking to buy a drive shower for my XR. The top cap has fins on it. Love the idea of a drive shower but hate the idea of drilling holes in my outdrive for the water pickup. Any suggestions?

I personally like the Hydro Cool II. I have these on my current boat and my last 4 boats. Fully emmerses the top cap with water while underway which is what you need.

Unfortunately you need to drill into the cavitation plate for any of them except the Simerek unit. This is not a big deal as everyone does it and it doesnt effect your boat or resale.

The best part is you will helping your drive live longer. Measure twice, drill once.
