Where yould one go about installing a pyrometer for the exhaust temp?

You would need to install a bung in a header. I dont think it will work in a log style manifold.

Mine is installed in the exhaust port of the head just before the header flange.

Mine is running right at the head too cylinder #7 I run about 700'f @ 950 rpm idle and 1250'f to 1300'f @ wot.

It does not matter what kind of blower you are running or how much boost. Some do it in the header and some do it in the head.
