Boost gauges

Do they make electrical boost gauges ? What type of gauges do most of the supercharged owners use ? Do you just plumb gauge in the intake ? You're not running a tube all the way to the dash ?

I know boost to some people is just bragging but , I think it would also let you know the condition of the blower. (As the strips on the rotors wear they must become less efficient(create less boost))

Any input would be appreciated.

Thanks

mine is mechanical, with a hose going to the dash. It's tee'd in at the rear with my boost reference line.

seen ones with electrical senders, but most are just plumbed in direct. Seen vacuum/boost gauge from VDO that measures boost up to 15# instead of the near-useless 30# gauges (most of us boat guys never go over 10# so the rest of the gauge is useless..)

I use a Gaffrig vacume/boost gauge that is plumbed from the engine to the gauge
