Sea Strainer

Looking for a sea strainer since I do alot of boating on the MIssissippi river and tend to suck up both mud and sand. Any help is appreciated.

We have several styles to offer.

My favorite is the Livorsi SS:

I can do a bit better on price.

Or the CP Performance by Gil:

Let me know if we can help.

I am interested in the Livorsi with a red top. Can you shoot me a price?

There's only one sea strainer on the market that actually offers multiple features that none of the other units do. Take a look at this Hardin Marine Sea Strainer http://www.keitheickert.com/detail.aspx?ID=996 which features a rubber sealed cone shaped basket to eliminate the mud and sand from packing around the exterior of the screen. Also a swivel style mounting bracket as well as a larger capacity than the others shown. If your looking for the ultimate sea strainer this is it.

Best regards

Whichever you choose make sure you add a flush kit.
This will make your life much easier.

I do not recommend the one with the red top. You need to remove all the wing nuts to clean it. Not a fun time!!

Yes I agree the red top one is a pain in the A** I should know I have 3 of them in my boat. However they are perty and you don't have to clean them everytime out.
