head choices

Thinking about putting some aftermarket heads on my 500efi any thought about what use ? try n to make 600 to 650 hp . Im leaning towards the afr 305s but im open to ideas

are you looking for the best out of the box or are you going to have them ported?
i recently ordered 2 sets of dart pro 1's 310cc. with the right cam, comp. etc you should be fine with minimal work. can get you some dyno sheets if you would like.

on a 500EFI dont forget fuel regulars, bigger injectors, re-mapping computer and a few other things when looking for 600hp and alum heads...

500 EFI intake is very restrictive. 600 HP with the stock intake is tough. I believe a 500EFI with AFR 305 cc heads and a good cam made ~575 hp.

already have 48 lb injectors along with a adjustable regulator. whats the down fall of the intake the upper or the lower ?

Boomer35 08-03-2009 01:39 PM

thats exactly what i went to, the 48lb injector with press regular, (that is nearly impossible to get to in a cramped twin eng 30' cigarette)
