fuel pressure

Any one know what the correct fuel pressure at the rail of 1999 7.4 pmi should be? Having issue on start up cold with it not stay running takes about 10 tries for it to stay running, also was thinking IAC may be sticking. Thanks Jason

38 to 42 , i believe. i would check the water temp switch ( not the gage switch... the efi sensor). if has failed open or near open or the connections are bad, the motor thinks its warm and never goes into cold start mode.
