hydraulic steering question on 21 skater

I DONT REALLY HAVE ALOT OF ROOM BETWEEN THE SIDE OF THE MOTOR AND THE DOCK ON MY 21 SKATER(TWINS) , I HAVE THE ALIEN COWLS AND LATHAM STEERING SO THE RAMS SWING WIDE , DOES ANYBODY KNOW THE PROS AND CONS OF INSTALLING THE RAMS ON THE INSIDE OF THE MOTORS INSTEAD OF ON THE OUTSIDE? thanks!!!

Mercman, I had a single engine on my 21 but I had my steering ram in the front of the motor instead of the side, it worked fine. good luck.:cool:
