Drive sucking in water. Engine overheating

So took my new boat out today and the port side engine started overheating. I checked the water intake to make sure nothing was blocking it and it was sucking in water when the motor is off. On a related note my hull was filling up with water faster than the bildge could pump it out. I'm thinking they are related but not sure what to look for. Suggestions?

Hose is off or seapump body is cracked.
