steering outboard please help

im new to the outboard world
helm is a hynautic h50 3 line system replaced o rings and now i am feeling a rachiting feeling and noise and boat is very hard to steer and can anyone help what did i do wrong
should it steer easy and smooth ?

yes 3 times
