Be carefull with the round ones at that height it ends up narrowing pretty quick on the sides and your boat might not fit.

You'd probably be better off taking that $500 and putting it towards having a good cover made. I guess it depends how much snow you get in Kentucky but up here, you'd be lucky to make it through the winter with one of those tents.

i have a round style I bought used 3 years ago. I have not changed the cover, it drips a little bit of water. in the winter i go shake the snow off after the storm an its still standing. It is the shelter logic 40x10x8 stacked on two rows of 2x2x6 concrete blocks locked together. it's a tight fit but works awesome as a garage year round. if your in the northern country get the snow off after every storm and you will be fine.:evilb:
thanks Steve |
I paid a lot of money over the years for strorage. A few years ago I spent the money for my own building. Those tent just don't look very safe to me. One good storm would take those out.

Anyone using one of the steel car ports ? I've had one for 6 years and is great for boat storage. Prices aren't too bad and come in any size to fit your needs. They do sweat a little because of the steel roofing. The best part is the installation is included in the price, all you need is a level site.
