Wont stay running only if I stuff rags down the throat. Carb is rebuilt all new. tried a second used carb. and the same deal..
Do I have to setup these carbs to run on a blower since these carbs where jetted for a straight manifold.. Blower was rebuild new teflon and bearings its tight... Im going to put on the old strip dominator manfold and see if it runs... this motor is totally fresh never no idle time just scream and die time.

and help from peanut gallery.. gotts get grapghics and clear on her before she goes to Tampa in end of Oct.

sounds like your pulling to much vacume at idle which will pull too much fuel from the ldle circuit at idle..you need to get a boost reverance carberator to prevent this from happening.

Dam Blower manifold is an oval port I have rect. ports on the Merlin heads ordered a new manifold.. I put the strip dom. manifold on and noticed that the ports where different runs super with the rect.port manifold.. SEE WHAT YOU GET FOR BEING IN A HURRY... got the new Holly rect.port blower manifold on order...<<<<<Feels really stupid about now:lolhit:
