Ive done this 6 ways to Sunday just recently.

For the Outside
I used Ocean LED amphibian A6's

For the interiors
I used the Apeiron Tri LED lights - 20 of them on the interior of my boat. These lights were the IBEX award winner form the Miami boat show a few years ago

The lights have a sealed base {potted}, come with a chrome bezel and are three colored using switch flips to cycle.

I lake and beach camp constantly and have tons of people climbing in and out of the water and boat at night that need lights, as well as night run a lot in the ocean

all 20 draw like 2.5 amps - this is what you want.

They are NOT CHEAP.

Thanks Uncle Dave.

Your boat looks really good! I am sure it turns some heads. Can you tell me more about the lights you put under the swim platform. Did you have to drill holes in the back of the boat for the wiring?

Hey uncle dave, I found the amphibian lights that are mounted on the back of your boat. WOW sure are expensive... How bright are they? I saw they had a cheaper kind that dont have as many LEDs, Do you think they would be bright? Just looking for some input. Thanks!

They are expensive, but you could likely step down to the three led version and it would still be pretty bright. I believe they use CREE LED technology and the face is some kind of super hard material. You have to drill a tiny hole for the wiring, but aside that its mainly a surface mount nothing at all like a transducer.

They are amazingly bright and can light up a whole campsite if you park your boat at your site on a lake. Im happy.

You can find cheaper for sure, but I don't know how bright they would be.

Thanks for the compliments! Its a neat little boat.
Its a Laveycraft 2750 - 28.8ft, 8.6 beam, 24 deg v.

Its a respectable fast deep water capable ride. Not the biggest or fastest, but has more amenities than any Ive seen her size..

Its powered by an Ilmor 710 and has a Teague platinum BRavo XR with ITS steering.

Runs about 90MPH and gets 2.2-2.4 MPH on long ocean runs cruising.
Its got 2 DVD screens, Radar,/gps. and AC/Heat.

For my LED interior I also light up the gunwhales, the cup holders, & the footrests.

Again thanks for the compliments! and keep us up to date on what you do.

"Rigged For Red" in the Stabin Cabin.

Nothing like scaring the crap out of really cute girls with a blast of speed to make em all giggly and fun.
