TRS/SSM dampener/dive plate

Are all TRS/SSM dampener/drive plates splined the same for B/W transmissions?
How about old MercTrans TRS drive plates?

The old 330 trs with Merc trans. and the 370/400 TRS with B/W trans both show the same part# (860125T} but that doesnt mean they are. 30 years of #,s superceding things do get scewed up sometimes.

All the BW are the same as far as the spline but big differance in quality/capacity on various plates, the Merctrans plate is differant (and hard to find)

bw vs merctrans tr/trs flywheel dampner plates

These are two entirely different species and not interchangeable. Borg Warner used the same spline count and pattern as Volvo Penta I/O, and these are readily available. The MercTrans plates are a species unto themselves and are difficult to find...www.kcmarinetr.com has available MercTrans plates.
