Yeah, i use the same system for winterizing my Honda jetski. Just got to retrofit it to a threaded water hose fitting to work with the muffs for next year. The jetski doesn't suck in the water, which is why i use the pump. I just figured the boat would have sucked it in better than that. Lesson learned.

I will change the impeller/housing next spring. Thanks guys.

I use a clear 5 gallon plastic jug with an AN fitting drilled into the bottom and no pump is needed. I bunji it to my swim platform and also only use just long enough clear tubing.

I had the same problem because the only place for me to get the anti freeze in is at the sea strainer. On my first engine it took for ever and the buzzer had just gone off as I got to the end of the jug. On the next motor I preasureized the jub with air and it emptied out much faster.

You can buy a pretty cheap 110v pump with a hose attachment... its like a sump pump, drop it all the way in any liquid no problem.
I use it to drain the pool cover.. hot tub.. etc .. comes in handy.

I bought a Rule bildge pump at walmart for like $10 for the jetski.
