? on pulling the motor

Im ready to pull my 500hps out for repower, question is what is best way to pull the motor from the bell. pull bell bolts out of block or pull the 2 boig bolts going down through bell and pull bell with motor.

Thanks

I always remove the bell with the motor, it's hard to get to the bolts in the splash sheild, and the sheild is in front of the flywheel.

Absolutely pull the bellhousing with the engine. Just pull the 2 rear motor mount bolts.

You don't have to if you have the forward clearance but you probably should, especially if it's your first time! ;)
