Intake Manifold Removal. Prying for help
 
Doing a top end rebuild on my 525sc All is clear and valve covers removed. 16 manifold bolts removed an that baby aint budging. Antysuggestions other than to CAREFULLY pry?

Never ran into this before. Cut the silicone seal on the front and rear with a razor blade and continue to pry in several different places. Perhaps tap it in a few different areas also with a plastic hammer. I doubt you'll damage it by doing what your doing. It should all at once just pop and break lose.

Drive a flat blade screwdriver into the front between the manifold and the china wall (top of the block) with a hammer. Don't go crazy. Just drive it in easily. First do the front, then move to the back and do the same thing. It will pop right up.
