Not much in a boat but the corvette guy's will pay lot's for a GOOD L88 engine.

It would depend on a lot of things, mostly how original it was. If it's a L88 it would be worth more beings they used the aluminum heads. L78 had cast iron heads. I would think a used L88 in ALL ORIGINAL CONDITION,never rebuilt would be worth at least 12K.

it depends on the buyer,sounds like you got a 430 hp engine but in reality that motor produced 530 hp..If it is a 1967 build for a corvette which only 20 were made with that alunimum head motor i would say you could get a pretty penny for it..i sold a l88 to a corvette guru about 6 yrs ago for 5k - the intake and carbs...with it having the alunimum heads i wouldnt let it go for under 7k..
