Hey John,
Yes, that is who he is talking about. Excellent transmission guy. His shop is located in GR, if memory recalls kinda near the John Ball Park Zoo area. Steve lives up near Spring Lake. Steve also has a complete transmission for sale rebuilt by him if you need a spare.

PS- If your boat had 330's in it, make sure you didn't wind up with 71's. I've run into this with a couple boats before.

The boat actually had the original Merc trannies. The ones with electonic shift. They worked extremely well however I have since purchased (4) BW C72's. I plan on selling the originals and having a couple of back ups ready to go. It's not a matter of IF it's WHEN they go. LOL...

IO boats change rotation in the drive not the tranny so both should be the same.
