Anodes?
 

I noticed while doing my spring maintenance that my anodes on my out drive are looking a little rough. Not really ate up... but are getting a coating of ? on them. Should or could these be cleaned as I'm real picky on how my ride looks. I know thats what they are for... but everything looks new except these parts and they look bad.:confused:

Since you say you are picky about looks, why don't you buy new ones? But they'll look like they do now after a season. I know you can't coat them with anything or they won't work. I guess you could take them off and try to buff them, but if I was going to do that I'd just replace them.:)
