Okay, I'm back, been plowing alot of snow here lately, haha. I currently have the crane powermax 272 cam. lift is .484"/.515" duration 260/272. Exhaust is factory but I did pick up some gil stainless risers dirt cheap I was going to put on the top of the stock manifolds just to see if it gave it a different tone. Don't know if they'll help it flow much better or not.
have fun searching anyway. Isn't fun when your head hits the pillow and all your thoughts involve BBC'ssssssssssssssss |
Gil risers won't fit stock Merc manifolds. That Crane cam is even a little smaller than a stock 454mag cam.

FYI, Not sure if you want to go this far, but I have a pair of NA 565cid short deck engines w/AFR 315 CNC ported heads that make about 600+hp @5400rpm w/very mild hyd roller cams I am willing to seperate, 230hrs, $12.5k each, built by Dave Wesseldyk
I also have 4.5" Stellings full length tubular racing headers, fresh water, $2500 per set I can give you more details...just send me a PM if you want |
