Pushrod and Valve Spring Recommendation HP 500

What is a reasonable priced push rod for a BBC GenVI for the spring pressures an HP 500 cam would have? Do I need a one piece or the real high dollar stuff or is that for very high lift and high spring pressures only?

Valve springs for the HP 500 head? Are we liking the Isky these days or is some other spring in favor?

Most use a 1 piece .080 wall 3/8 dia. pushrod. I forget the length. Comp Cams has them on the shelf.

In the marine performance world, go with the good stuff.

Call trend. They have stuff that is not shown on their website. How about a 3.8" push rod with a .135 wall. That will make your valve stand at attention!!!!

On the PSI springs which series?

1500ML ML= their max life process If you are not sure which specific spring to use for the HP500 (have your cam specs ready too), contact Bob Madera aka
RMBUILDER on this site.

I run PSI springs in my top sportsman race engines..they are great, but they did not have a spring that would work when I just rebuilt my HP500
