serial number on engine block..
 
hey guys.. i own a Baja with a 2006 Mag 496 (375hp) engine.. i need to know where i can track down the serial # so i can order a impeller kit.

If it's worn off the engine cover then look on the bottom of the block just above the oil pan on the starboard side in the rear corner. There is a hard to read tag that has probably been painted over.

'Dunno about other engines, but in 496 it's just above the oil pan as SDF said, not below as the drawing seems to suggest...
