MSD rev Limiters w/o pills ?

My boat has MSD revlimiters w/ 5200 pills. I want to spin the engines faster than that, so if I just remove the pills that are in there and leave the pills out , will I have an open RPM range? Is this ok to do ? Thanks in advance.....

You can run it without the pills and have no limits... set of pills are cheap enough, though.

You can get adjustable chips also.. but a pain to adjust!! LOL
