How to prevent hatch actuator sleeve from scratching actuator body?
 

Does anyone have a way to keep the sleeve that allows the hatch to be opened when the actuators malfunction from scratching and scraping the paint off the actuator body?

you will need to remove the outer sleeve or replace it with a different model with out the sleeve tube over the actuator
