94 502 MPI cam question

Hi, I had a customer call me about a 1994 502 MPI that has a std Hyd flat tappet cam. I thought all the injected engines were hyd rollers? I've seen some gen 5 502's with std cams but they were all carbs. What have you seen in the past???

I had 2 of them, flat tappets with MPI. They were used 93-95 in 96 they got the roller cam.
