I have tried and its pretty much impossible. I know thats not what you wanted to hear but>>>>>>>>>>>I would just find another air to water thats similar in size at least thats what I did. I wasnt paying prochargers ridiculous price for theirs.

I think Articfriends knew of someone that could put another core in your box.. Give him a pm.. might be worth trying.

I replaced a Procharger 504 intercooler with an aftermarket unit. It was a little larger at about approx. 580 sq. in., so I had to remote mount it. It had the same hookups as the Procharger unit so it was a real easy install. You just can't put it on the engine. I found the company through their ebay store. It was only about $250-$300. The intercooler has been in the boat for about a year and a half on almost 950 hp and has been flawless. I will try to find their info and get back to you.

That is where we got the one that we used from. It was about $300. Works great.

I also replaced a leaking procharger 504 intercooler with a frozen boost unit so far no problems.
I have the old one @ my freinds shop and they are going to try to fix it, I will let you know how it goes.
I could not believe how much Procharger wanted for a replacement!!!

Yep, Frozenboost like Fixx said. I am the one with the ZX. I recommend them. Eddie did a great job with the install. It has never run better. As a matter of fact, I ran my best numbers after the cooler swap. 103 mph. Eddie builds a mean engine. We kicked it around a good bit and Eddie concurred with the idea. I like a builder that can get out of the box. He saved me money and got me more power at the same time. You can ask the guys in the Outerlimits and Hustler that were quite surprised to see me there at those speeds.

I will never look back.
