Do the mains have the same torque 110 ft/lbs, even though different length bolts? whats the best lube on the threads? thanks

Yes. all bolts have the same torque. You can use assembly lube or motor oil on the threads.

What about the heads? Whats the torgue on them?

Young Performance 05-09-2010 11:16 AM

The mains torque to 110 with 30 wt motor oil. If you use a moly lube then the torque spec will change. The moly has much less friction, so it will use a much lower torque spec. I don't know what it is. I always use oil and 110.
Torque the heads to 75 ft lbs. Do it in 4 stages.....30, 50, 65, 75 ft lbs from the center out.
