Dart Intake...Will it work on my 489?
 

I got a Dart Single plane intake that looks brand new. The guy threw it in with a pkg of parts I bought from him, cleaning race parts out of his garage. Looking at it next to my stock 454 mag intake, the bolt holes don't line up at all, and there are 2 missing on each side compared to the stock intake. I can't find a part # anywhere on it, it just says DART and has a 4500 dominat flange. Does this mean it is for a tall/aftermkt block, therefore won't work on my Mark IV block and 188 heads?

ok the holes do line up. I guess I need to call Dart and see if their is some measurements they can advise me to take so I can tell.

a tall deck still uses the same intake gasket so bolt holes would be the same, now most don't have the 4 upper bolts between the intake ports, no big deal there, but if the bolt pattern totally of must be for big chief heads, are the intake ports all separated and not 2 and 2 ? if so no, will not work..Rob

no the runners are not separated. I think it will work after looking at it again.
