38 fountain lightning vibration!!

I have a 38ft fountain lightning and after i get up to plan there is a loud vibration at around 3500 rpms. Can someone please give me some suggestions to what the possible causes might be?? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks

might be u joints,what year is the boat and how many hours on it.
