Hawk 525sc oval port intake with rectangle heads
 

Looking at buying Hawk 525sc (weiand 177's) takeoffs to put on my 454mags. They came off motors with rectangle port heads, but the intakes are large oval port. Is that the way they all came? The seller said he would have the intakes port-matched for the rectangular port heads @ no extra cost if desired. Best to leave them alone or port-match, and what would be the advantage?

I doubt they came with oval port intakes, weiand makes both intakes for those blowers
