Black full cover How Hot?

Does anyone have a full black cover on their boat ? Does it broil the inside by being black in color? Have a chance to buy a full cover for a decent price but it's black? Thanks jay

Ours is black, haven't noticed it being any different then the ones we have had in the past!

My black one isnt noticeably hotter than any other colors Ive had. My boat has red and white upholstery and it will scald you on a hot day, I dont think black would be any hotter there either...lol...plus my boat is black :o)

not the same but I winter stored my boat with a black tarp over it like a big tent, like a green house. even in 30 degree weather it was like 60 degrees in the top of the tarp.... in the sun. black boat covers have to be hotter than lighter colors.

I have a black cockpit cover. When I open the boat up on a sunny day, it is friggin' hot in there. While I haven't noticed any adverse affects from the heat, it is definitely hot in there. There is no way around it, a black cover is going to be hotter that a lighter colored cover.
