Max HP for Stainless Marine Exhaust

Hi,

What is the max HP that Stainless Marine Hi Torque exhaust manifolds will support? Will they support up 600+ or would I need to go to headers at that point?

Thanks

I would love some input on this very same question as well. I have a pair of 600 + horse motors that I need exhaust for. I like the reliability of the stainless systems. How much can they suppport?

Thanks

Brad

GLH used them on his engines in DOI and I think they were near 900. Old School says he lost nothing on his 650+ engines when he switched from Stellings.

I think they advertise them to 800hp. Running them on a 675hp 540 with a dom 1050 24" risers, semi dry. No issues.

How long is the riser compared to Gil, EMI, Imco Powerflows?

I have seen 750 HP on 509 ci NA A-Class race engine at Chief Engines. These had straight tall risers out of the manifolds and the tails were dry to the exits. 710 HP on my engines.... this was before we figured it out :drink:
In a standard set up, 600 HP+ should be easy.
