What kind of oil do you all use in the SCX?

Torco RTF is the only oil IMCO suggests.

I would call imco but on my SC they told me over the phone mercury hp. I use it and 180hrs later much over powered no problems. Change every 20 hrs. Good luck. I researched like you engine and drive oil and drove my self nuts. 10 people 10 different answers! Any good quality fluid and change often.

The SCX manual says Torco RTF right on it.

Imco has allways recomended the Torco oil

Torco. You can get it from a Merc dealer in quarts or a 5 gallon bucket straight from Merc. It is the same oil that is used in the #6 drive.
