Question Fuel additive...yay or nay???

My boat is basically on empty, and i'm getting ready to fill it up full for the first time this season...im wondering if i should put any type of fuel additive of fuel system cleaner in? I've never ran any through it and don't really know if it's worth it. What do you guys think? I plan on using all or most of the full tank over the 4th weekend, so i'm not concerned about using stabil or anything. Just wondering about a system/ injector cleaner. I have a 496 Mag HO about 580hrs on it. Let me know!

I've added Marvel mystery oil at different times on both my harley and my boat. I've never had any issues, it certainly cant hurt. the main things the additives do is offer a little more detergent and if there is any moisture in the tank it will help it emulsify into a burnable mixture. hope this helps

Techron is really great stuff. If you buy chevron fuel it already has some in it but a bottle every once in awhile goes a long way. I live by the stuff on my gas motors.

I use AMSOIL PI in my fuel tank.

I use Startron when I fill up. It helps with the ethanol problems up here in the NE.
