Question 496ho high idle? please help

I have a Nordic Rage and noticed some stumbling when trying to get on plane. I'm the second owner so I'm not sure how much maintance was done prior to me owning the boat. The hour meter shows 189 hours. So, I've changed the spark plugs (AC 41-983 with a gap of .060), cleaned the boost pump inlet screen, replaced the water fuel separater, changed the inline fuel filter, cleaned the spark arrestor, and cleaned the throttle plate. The spark arrestor was very dirty from pieces of rubber coming off the belt. I prefilled the fuel/water filter and went to the lake to test the boat for leaks etc. The boat started just fine, though the idle is now around 1100 rpms? I've checked the vaccuum lines and they all seem to be ok. Any ideas??? Thanks for your help!

I can't seem to get a dealership to do a quick scan... a two week wait? Anthing I can try at on the lake to rule out the IAC? I've removed the muffler in the intake and I hear it hissing and surging while running? Is this typical?

Thanks!
