Gauges help needed

Hi guys, buying a 2008 38 ZR, sea-trialed it today, it had a couple small problems- the port oil pressure gauge was bouncing all over the place, and the port oil temperature gauge ran all the way up to max, then would drop back to match the starboard engine, then back to max, im thinking it is either a loose wire or the sending unit? Any help would be appreciated, they are going to look at it and let me know, but sometimes I trust the guys on here more than the techs, haha.
Also the GPS Speedo and port tach wouldnt work, anybody heard of all these things being connected somehow? And why wouldn't it affect the starboard gauges?

Thanks in advance!

The temp deal could be a guage or it could be a sticking T-stat that when it gets hot enough it finally pops open or it could have a blockage in the cooling system. Oil preasure can easily be determined by putting on a menchanical guage and have them check with that.

I does sound like a loose ground to me. Check under the dash and fallow the wires and see if they are all snugged down. GPS speedo could be a bad antenna.

Thanks for your help! The boat is going to the Factory to be fixed so I am sure they'll find it! I have heard about the GPS Speedo antenna problem in the Donzi's from someone on here(maybe Andy??) but I forgot.....getting old!
