fuel pump(s) for 1000/1200hp...help.
Hi, first posting on offshore,
Upgrading from twin flagship 540`s on single holleys and mechanical pumps to 690 supercharged,s thru twin 1050s. Estimated WOT output of each engine 1000 + hp depend on boost. Consumption best guess WOT 176 gph. Am upgrading all fuel lines/unions/fittings etc to 1/2inch from existing 3/8.from two existing tanks.via filters to a common fuel manifold then on to each engine. replacement engines have mechanical pumps but am advised to fit electric pumps in series.and need help in selecting most reliable model electric pump(s) to do the job and best position in the line for pump. also best supplier, as goods have to be shipped to england, so poor service or product is the pits. I really struggle to get parts here. Thanks for any help. Bernie. (engine can be seen running on u tube, under merlin big block) |
Weldon 2345

I have an Aeromotive Eliminator that just has dyno time. It would work on a carb blown system making 1700hp +. I had to upgrade to the Weldon 2345, but at the lower carb system pressure it is good for much more HP.

X 2 on the Aeromotive !

Weldon 2025. The 2345 is to much pump for that. I have used the 2345 to support 1500+ hp. The 2025 will support up to about 1200 hp.

I use the Weldon 2035 for 1300hp application and they work great

i use the 2345 on 1250hp because the Aeromotive Eliminator was droping pressure on an EFI system, carb with lower pressure would have been fine. the procharger takes some HP also.
