Help me identify trim actuator
Can you give me a manufacturer name? I have looked everyware. I would like to switch to the one that mounts on the trim cylinder bushing rather than clamps on the the ram. Or is this custom?

Hi Ray, that would be a Bluewater setup. He was the first. Made indicators since the 70's I think I have his (Bill rings a bell) number at the office.

Thanks Marc, I found them at: http://www.bluewaterperformance.com/
I will give them a call |
Ray why do you want to change them? I have the same ones they are 14 years old and work fine.

I wanted to get something that was more accurate and was concerned about hooking them up to the existing cable that is there. I was having problems with them not being conststant in their operation. After inspecting them ther is not much to them I think I will just clean them up and re-grease them and try agian. If they still bind I will have to inspect the cable. P.S. We will have to get together for that drink soon, I have been so busy with missing all the work catching up and trying to fit in working on the boat it has been real hectic lately. How about Tuesday? |
Ray I have never had any binding problems with mine. I have taken them apart and they do get a little gunked up but after cleaning them up with a little steel wool the work very smooth. I did not grease them and everything is OK. There is a small allen set screw you have to back off to get the cable out. Tuesday will work for me. What time?
