Ideas for a boat cover on a non conventional boat shape.

Hi, I have a 78 Sleekcraft Aristocrat, which has a transom shape unlike most boats. Instead of being capped well above the waterline, the deck is joined to the hull on a convex rounded surface. I have a cover that currently fits, ON THE TRAILER, but I am planning on keeping this thing in the water during the work week, instead of trailering it in and out all the time.

Here is a picture of the transom:

Basically, I'm not sure how to secure a boat cover to this thing, without the cover going into the river. How do you guys do it?

Uh... how is that going to stay on? I don't need a generic cover that claims to be for my boat. I need a way of securing the edge of the cover OVER the engine/passenger compartment, but above the waterline. Due to the shape of the transom/rear of the boat, I am not sure how this will happen.

Just a custom cockpit cover from acrylic canvas add snaps good to continue canvas over windshield to the base I imagine couple hundred bucks don't see why you would want to do entire hull unless it sitting in full sun I don't know. JMO

Are there other alternatives besides snaps? Snaps would suck, since hte lines are so clean on this thing.

Judging from that pic, I would be more worried about trim cylinders than a cover:grinser010:

Sorry , snaps are the only way to go.

Next season. This season is the complete resto and getting her wet and useful. Next season I'll do the stereo and trim cylinders. :)
