Corsa Captains Call

I am having a problem with one of the solenoid's not holding open. I have the version with the 4 wire solenoid. I dont want to spend the money to rewire and update to the 3 wire version that they sell now. Does anyone know where to purchase a replacement 4 wire solenoid. I remember someone having this problem, and some company was selling these.... any help?????

Your problem is not with the solenoid. You need to adjust the the stop on it. Manually pull the flap closed and using the adjuster stud adjust it so the plunger bottoms out in the solenoid and back it out half a turn and it should solve your problem.

I had this on mine and just pulled all the solenoid stuff off and wired the clamp open.... mine went out with the previous owner and he burned up a motor. Not worth the risk IMO and there is no sound ordinance around here.
